In 2016, Nino Redruello and Patxi Zumárraga shook up Madrid’s culinary scene with their totally revolutionary restaurant. Now, Fismuler makes its debut in Barcelona on the premises of Hotel REC Barcelona, in a wink to the local flavor and cobblestone streets of the ancient Rec Comtal. Fismuler Barcelona will be taking up residence on the lower level of Hotel REC, just steps away from the Arc de Triomf, in a glamorous, diaphanous 300m² dining space.
The Fismuler menu is short and sweet, serving up concoctions that are at once astoundingly simple, crafted using elaborate techniques, and created with careful thought. Menu items change daily depending on market trends and availability, and all dishes are conceived around natural, organic, and local products. The kitchen ditches deep-fryers in favor of deep flavor, always honoring the integrity of food itself.
The restaurant also offers house-made spirits, wines by the glass, drip coffee, pitchers for easy sharing, and communal-style tables which foster a friendly and social atmosphere.
